Project overview
This project explores the research and good practice around inclusive formative assessment across the University of Leeds. It aims to:
1) evaluate and pilot existing models across the institution;
2) support colleagues interested in implementing formative assessment;
3) explore the students' views and experiences around formative assessment. It will support the development of evidence-informed resources to enhance existing practice in the development of formative assessment.
The research approach
I will conduct a series of staff interviews and student focus groups. The data will be analysed following a qualitative thematic analysis. My aim is to identify the challenges that staff and students face regarding formative assessment.
