The Institute supports and encourages the vibrant and active community of practitioners and pedagogic researchers from across the institution who have a shared interest in the educational experience of our students.

We bring together like minded practitioners to share and collaborate, provide funding and support their research. This covers all aspects of learning and teaching to help our projects feed back in to University processes, impacting positively on the student experience.

Pedagogic Research at Leeds

Fellowships

Fellowships for academic and professional staff across the University to support them in exploring aspects of their student education practice through a pedagogic research project.

Student Research Experience Placements

These students placements in partnership with Educational Engagement allow students the opportunity to complete a summer research project, their findings feed in to the Access and Student Success Strategy 2025.

Inclusive Teaching

This started as a fellowship but has now grown in to an ongoing area of work, discover more about the resources available and the the findings from the research to date.

Transformation Fellowships

Working with colleagues in the Business School and the School of Law LITE is supporting a programme of module transformation that will deliver engaging and interactive teaching in state of the art teaching spaces.
