REDESIGNING and rethinking modules with a focus on inclusivity is the topic of a LITE Share, Adapt, Adopt, Workshop.

The session - Module Redesign: Creative assessment and inclusivity in the curriculum and in practice - will be delivered by a number of presenters, including, Nina Wardleworth – Inclusive Curriculum Design, Samantha Pugh – Reimagining University Assessment by learning from Secondary Education, Jenny Brady – Inclusive Learning and Teaching Development and Dan Trowsdale – Co creation of design for learning.

It will provide 'hands-on' advice for module leaders to reflect creatively on their modules through the lens of creative assessment and inclusivity, as well as tools to implement module changes prior to the formal deadlines.

Different perspectives for looking at how teaching is delivered and learning outcomes achieved, will also be examined.

Lego will be used to help visualise modules and assessment before reconstructing them to reflect insights discussed, as part of an interactive approach to delivering the workshop.

Colleagues with a wealth of experience in these areas will be on hand to provide input, guidance and support and to answer your questions.

Participants should be module leaders and able to apply the activities to a module they would like to redesign.

This is the first in a series of workshops being delivered by the Institute to support colleagues in redesigning and rethinking modules.

Feel free to bring your lunch along, teas, coffees and cakes will be served during the workshop.

Places on this workshop are limited so please sign up using the online form.
