About the student researcher
I'm Esther and I am a third year medical student. I am enjoying contributing to research towards the universities work in SoTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) and am very grateful for this opportunity to expand my research skills and explore an interesting subject.
Project overview
The Leeds Institute of Teaching Excellence provides a fellowship scheme that supports Professional Service Colleagues to conduct research into the wider aspects of student experiences and learning. Our project's aim is to discover the fellow's experiences in conducting a research project, with attention to the impact on their professional practice, professional development and on the university. We are working towards this by conducting interviews and performing a reflexive thematic analysis. I am also producing a booklet that describes the fellow's perspectives of completing a LITE fellowship.
