Registration open for #SEC2022

Date

LITE is pleased to announce that the programme for #SEC2022 has been confirmed and registration is now open.

The conference will take place on the 6th and 7th January, and be delivered virtually, including our keynote afternoon presentation from Prof. Eric Mazur, who will be delivering his keynote session from the USA.

The conference offers a packed two day programme including the popular snap sessions as well as the chance to hear more in depth project details presented in our parallel sessions.

Feedback from last year was positive but it was clear that we all missed the chance to meet and chat informally. This year we are excited to be offering the SEC gather space - an online social space using the Gather Town platform, which will be open throughout the duration of the conference. We are also presenting posters this year and these will be available to view throughout in our poster exhibition.

Other highlights include the opportunity to hear from the Vice Chancellor and our Deputy Vice Chancellor for Student Education, Jeff Grabill and we will also be hosting a student panel as well as hearing from several of our LUU Exec officers. We will also be hosting an on campus gathering but numbers are restricted and colleagues will have to sign up if they want to attend.

Full details of the programme, the abstracts and information about registering can be found on the LITE Sharepoint site - Student Education Conference: Belonging and Community.

Delivering the conference virtually means we can welcome more and more colleagues to the range of sessions. Last year's conference saw the largest audience to date. Of course at #SEC2022 we hope to break that record again - with your help.

We hope you can join us in January and we look forward to welcoming you at #SEC2022.
