This year's Student Education Conference at the University of Leeds is all about Student Success. Keynotes, parallel sessions, workshops and exhibits will explore the range of factors that contribute in helping our students succeed.

Themes include: inclusivity, employability, wellbeing, student experience, pedagogy and practice.

For the first time, #SEC2020 delegates will be able to download a new conference app. Delegates can download Whova to view the programme and abstracts, build a personalised agenda, connect with speakers and join forums to comment in real time as the conference unwinds. Alternatively:

Delegates can view the agenda online or download a SEC2020 Abstract Booklet.

Use of the the app will also allow LITE to further enhance its sustainability by significantly reducing the use of paper at the conference and give attendees the choice of whether to print out, or not.

Dr Meera Sabaratnam, Senior Lecturer in International Relations and Chair of the Decolonising SOAS Working Group (SOAS, University of London), will present the keynote 'Decolonising the curriculum: what's all the fuss about?'.

#SEC2020 is part of a portfolio of events delivered by the Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence (LITE). For any queries please contact LITE@leeds.ac.uk.

THIS CONFERENCE IS FOR UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS STAFF ONLY.
