A FOCUS on the Student Centred Active Learning Approach (SCALA) teaching model will be the first in an online relaunch of the Share, Adopt, Adapt series of workshops.

This session, hosted by James Pickering, Dave Lewis, Charlotte Haigh, Chris Randall and Sue Whittle from the Faculty of Biological Sciences, will share the thinking behind the two lecture delivery models adopted by SCALA and more importantly, how they have been adopted and incorporated into two large modules in the Biosciences.

It will be an opportunity to share ideas and discuss how they can be incorporated as is, or modified, in your teaching.

You can register for the eventĀ  here you will subsequently be sent a calendar invitation via MS Teams.

These events are being run in conjunction with the TiPS (Teaching, Innovation and Practice in Student Education) working group.

They will be 30 minute sessions where presenters share their experiences for approximately 10 mins with a chance for a Q and A afterwards.
