SAAW Christmas Special

Date
Date
Thursday 17 December 2020, 11:15 to 12:00

SHARING ideas and practice on student engagement will be the focus of a Christmas Special Share, Adopt, Adapt (SAAW) event.

If you have a great student engagement initiative, big or small, that you’d like to share with an interested, and extremely friendly, audience from across the University, this is for you.

Volunteers are needed for the LITE and the TIPS Community event, to produce three minute presentations using three slides that address what you did, how you did it, and what the impact was, including how you evaluated it, if applicable.

This can be as part of a module or a co-curricular activity - or something in between.

We will be strictish on time, but we don’t expect presentations to be super-polished - the event is about celebrating what you’ve done and having fun.

Christmas themed attire is encouraged.

If this sounds like fun, and you’d like to present, please fill out this very brief form.

If you would like to attend the event and watch the presentations, please sign up here.

Presenters will need to be available from 11am.

The workshop will be run for the first time as an MS Teams “Live Event”.

Those that are presenting will be added as a presenter, attendees will receive a calendar invitation with a link to the event.

This will be followed by the first ever SAAW Extra, which will be a relaxed, informal, and interactive session 12-12:30 to pose questions to presenters that are able to stay on, and to hold an informal discussion of issues related to student engagement.

This event will be hosted by Aline Gaus, TIPS Community lead.

A link to this meeting will be provided on the day.
