Date
Date
Thursday 19 March 2020, 10:00-12:00
Location
Research Room 2, Edward Boyle Library, Level 13

SORRY, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL A LATER DATE. Would you like to develop your understanding of how to foster international learning communities?
All staff (both academic and professional) working with mixed cohorts of students and/ or those working in diverse and international teams are invited to attend this interactive session. The workshop is designed to inspire changes to practices and approaches in induction programmes, teaching and personal tutoring to enable them to become more inclusive and welcoming.

Delivered by the Internationalising Student Education Network, the session will help colleagues reflect critically on their own working practices and how they communicate. Through the sharing of initiatives, activities and university-wide support, the session will provide solutions that enable us to build a learning community that understands intercultural sensitivity and inclusivity.

Tea and coffee will be available.
