Info Event: LITE Fellowships for Professional Services

Date
Date
Thursday 16 September 2021, 10-11

For the first time LITE is offering Fellowships specifically for colleagues in the professional services. This includes, but is not limited to colleagues working in the SES, Accomodation, Marketing, DES, Library Services, The Internationals Students Office, and Comms Teams.

The fellowships will provide the opportunity to generate evidence that explores the value and potential of a range of activities such as (but not limited to) student voice, co and/or extra-curricular activity, community building, campus spaces, employability, mentoring and accommodation. Support and advice will provided throughout by the LITE team.

Perhaps you want to demonstrate the impact of a scheme you have run or an initiative you have spearheaded? You may want to learn more about the experiences of a specific group of students with a view to making improvements in provision, or there may be something within your role, related to the student experience, that you wish you had the time and resources to investigate.

If this piques your interest, even a little bit, come along to our informal event on Thursday September 16th 10-11. You can sign up by clicking here (the event will be recorded for those that can’t make it on the day).

The deadline for applications is Thursday September 30th, full details on how to apply are available here. Fellows will, (subject to line manager/head of service approval) have their contracts bought out for up to 0.2 FTE at their current pay grade, for 12 months (or 0.1 for 24 months). The fellowships will begin in January 2022.
