COIL Showcase: Get inspired- Using COIL± to internationalise your teaching

On June 10, LITE fellows Martin Ward, Eve Smith, and Ayako Yoshino will be hosting a COIL Showcase Event.

COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) or virtual exchange (VE) involves students from institutions in different countries collaborating together on a learning programme or task. COIL± fits well into the overall vision of Curriculum Redefined at Leeds and there are a number of examples of COIL± type pedagogies being implemented across the University.  This Showcase will comprise of short talks by colleagues already implementing or developing COIL± in their teaching practice, Q&A, speed-networking spaces to discuss ideas and possibilities for your own practice, and a support panel with the international office and digital education services (DES).

Giving you a space to hear inspirational talks from colleagues on their COIL± practice as well as ask questions, this exciting event will help you identify new and dynamic ways to provide inclusive global and collaborative learning experiences for your students. Lunch will be provided.
