Hayley Bullard

Position
Research Assistant
Location
Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence

Hayley is a research assistant and supports LITE fellows in their research.

Hayley has a professional background in early childhood education and an interest in creative approaches to pedagogy, particularly Forest Schooling. Hayley is currently in the final stages of her PhD in Education at the University of Huddersfield. In her PhD, she has used qualitative research alongside abductive approaches, a combination of inductive and deductive methods, to data analysis.

During her time studying as a postgraduate researcher, she has developed an interest in higher education and has since gained experience working as a part-time lecturer at the University of Huddersfield. Her passion for alternative approaches to early education has informed her reflection on creative pedagogy in higher education.

She is thrilled to be a part of LITE and to be supporting LITE fellows as they shape the field of Scholarship in Teaching and Learning at the University of Leeds.
