THE CALL for abstracts for next year’s online Student Education Conference (SEC) has been extended until Monday, November 9.
The extra time has been put in place to allow a longer opportunity for colleagues to submit their applications.
The online event will take place on January 7 and will be an opportunity to explore ‘Lessons from a hybrid world’.
We encourage colleagues to share their experiences regardless of the success and want to embrace the good, the bad or won’t try again.
If you would like to present – 10 minutes for presentation with 5 minutes of questions – you can choose from any of the following topics:
- Creating a sense of belonging online;
- Approaches to specific teaching requirements, e.g. large group,practical sessions or field trips;
- Equality and inclusion in teaching practice;
- Supporting students, from academic to pastoral.
Closing date for submission of abstracts is Monday, November 9, at 17.00.
