We've got a jam-packed programme for you this year at SEC, with a brand new welcome reception including dinner on Wednesday 8 January.
As usual, the first day of the conference kicks off with a student panel, introduced by Vice-Chancellor Shearer West. We'll be hearing directly from some students about their experience of research, and how it's impacted their university experience.
Our keynote on day 2 is Margaret Bearman from Deakin University, Australia, introduced by Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Student Education, Jeff Grabill. She'll be sharing insights into sustainable innovation, and how longstanding shifts to practice can be achieved.
We've got our usual range of workshops, snap presentations, and posters, and this year we're introducing new PechaKuchas - fast-paced sessions, where speakers have 20 slides of 20 seconds each (that's 400 seconds total, or just under 7 minutes!) to make a impression.
We hope you can join us at SEC2025!
