Our next Share, Adapt, Adopt workshop, in collaboration with the TIPS Community (OD & PL) introduces the concept of Dyadic Microcommunities for Professional Development. I saw Deak Kirkham and Chris Janetta present a paper on their own microcommunity at the EuroSOTL conference and immediately thought that we must have a SAAW on the topic! You can sign up for the workshop here.

Deak and Chris will discuss a dyadic configuration of collaborative working relevant to collaborative SoTL and professional development. The workshop is suitable for anyone with an interest in novel approaches to professional development. This might include tutors, academics, researchers, course designers, or educational technologists.

Deak Kirkham is a Lecturer in EAP (Leeds) with interests in quotidian language and collaborative approaches to professional development. Chris Jannetta is an EAP Tutor (University of Dundee) interested in developing innovative engagement in scholarship.
