Our latest Share, Adapt, Adopt workshop, hosted in partnership with the TIPS Community, sees Angela Newton, Jon Cook, and Trevor Hough from our University Library share their knowledge of new and upcoming resources. These include resources that can help with literature searches, a new resource that can create a reading list in 2 minutes, and an resource-in-development that can help students better understand how the paragraph works in academic writing. Short Blurbs for each presentation are listed below- you can sign up here.

Angela Newton: How do paragraphs work in academic writing?  An online resource

Angela will introduce a forthcoming online resource for students, which shares examples of paragraphs from published academic writing and unpicks how they work.

Trevor Hough: Three ways to make access to online resources easier

This session will demonstrate how to do three things that will help improve searching and access to online resources using Google Scholar, LibKey Nomad and OpenAthens.

Jon Cook: Hack your reading List

This session will give some practical hints to help tutors get the most out of the new reading lists system - including how to create a list from scratch in 2 minutes, and using the web to re-imagine your reading list.
